HIPPO MB is designed for paediatric and adult patients participating in equine-assisted rehabilitation sessions, to promote correct, safe and comfortable posture during therapy.

The entire device has been designed to:

• To promote better posture and body balance
• Help manage hip asymmetry
• Ensure both patient safety and horse comfort
• To prevent pathological conditions and possible injuries
• To adapt to the chest circumference of each horse
• Improving the interaction between the horse and the patient
• To facilitate the therapist's actions in maximising the efficiency of the child's perceived horse stimulus therapy.
• Distribute body pressures evenly
• Maintain and align posture
• Allow for knee flexion and correct leg position when sitting
• Laterally support the trunk and the pelvic/lumbar region in supine and prone positions
• Support the head in the supine and prone position
• To contain involuntary secondary pathological movements
• Control and guide the sitting position of the femur-pelvis-spine system, allowing for extension and alignment of the trunk

Every component and subsystem is fully modular and independent, allowing precise adaptation to different anatomical shapes and varying user morphologies and anthropometric measurements, guaranteeing a postureally correct and comfortable support.
