AUXIFORM: Positioning system for bedridden patients
AUXIFORM is a supine and semi-supine positioning system designed for the support, containment and relief of the lower limbs, upper limbs, trunk and pelvis, intended to assist the bedridden patient through the different stages of hospitalisation, rehabilitation and daily care, offering postural support, comfort and prevention;
The use of AUXIFORM positioning devices is permitted for paediatric, adult, and elderly patients for general, even non-professional, use and is aimed at alleviating and/or preventing pathological clinical conditions related to posture, post-traumatic, surgical, and post-surgical conditions, as well as rehabilitation. The system is also compatible with the head positioning system. Xer and with the body positioning system MULTISOFT.
Intended use
The intended use of AUXIFORM is aimed at:
Treat postural disorders;
contribute to a suitable and comfortable positioning of the user or of a body part;
contain a body segment of the user;
to promote a correct and even distribution of body pressure.
Materials
- Padding made of polymer material that combines different characteristics of elasticity, load-bearing capacity, and shape memory.
- The padded elements also feature a non-slip underside.
- Coating made from a combined PU/PES material, with the following properties:
- Breathable
- waterproof
- Antibacterial
- non-cytotoxic
- non-irritating
- virus-penetration resistant
- antifungo
- fireproof
- disinfectable and sanitised
- latex-free
- biocompatible
- Washable at high temperatures (95°C – max 10 washes) or dry clean
- autoclavable (134°C / 5 min – max 10 cycles)
- Oeko-Tex® certificate
