ROTOLINO: Postural Positioning and Containment Device
ROTOLINO is a device designed for the positioning and/or postural containment of a body segment or, in the case of paediatric users, the entire body. It is indicated for individuals with temporary or permanent pathological conditions, as part of rehabilitation programmes and post-traumatic or clinical care pathways.
It's part of the range MULTISOFT, systems designed for the positioning and comfort of bedridden patients.
It is made from validated and tested materials to ensure lightweight construction, comfort and long-term durability, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2017/745.
Its use is also permitted in non-professional settings and is intended for indoor environments, with the aim of alleviating and/or preventing posture-related clinical conditions.
Its flexible structure allows it to adapt to a wide range of positioning needs, providing comfortable and continuous support. However, as it is not designed to bear structural loads, it must not replace the user’s primary support systems under any circumstances.
Intended use
The intended use of ROTOLINO is to:
Treat postural disorders
to facilitate adequate and comfortable positioning of the user or a part of their body
To support the positioning and containment of limbs or body segments.
To facilitate optimal body pressure distribution.
Materials
- Padding made from variable-density polyurethane foam, featuring load-bearing properties and shape memory.
- Flexible structure, adaptable to a variety of positioning configurations.
- Non-slip upper and lower surfaces for enhanced stability and safety.
- Coating made from a combined PU/PES material, with the following properties:
- Breathable
- waterproof
- Antibacterial
- non-cytotoxic
- non-irritating
- virus-penetration resistant
- antifungo
- fireproof
- disinfectable and sanitised
- latex-free
- biocompatible
- Washable at high temperatures (95°C – max 10 washes) or dry clean
- autoclavable (134°C / 5 min – max 10 cycles)
- Oeko-Tex® certificate
